We are a charity working to reduce poverty by helping farmers in Uganda to grow more, sell more and sell for more.
With our help, rural families are growing their incomes while also protecting their local environment for generations to come.
We have helped many people in the communities acquire lands so they can better their families through farming and agriculture.
One step at a time, our association has hit milestones hence providing food for those who were not able to find food and earn a living through their hard work
what we do
Almost half of the rural population live in poverty without reliable access to income as despite Uganda’s good soil and favourable weather, there are many barriers preventing poor farmers making the most of the country’s growing economy.
Our projects in Uganda offer a wide range of support. From helping coffee farmers in the western region to engage with markets, to enabling small-scale chilli growers in the Nakaseke region to capitalise on the sector’s huge market demand, to supporting pastoralist women set up sustainable goat-rearing enterprises.
We help farmers find ways of earning a living that are suited to their natural environment, so they can improve their lives without damaging the natural resources they rely on. Our activities aim to create a resilient rural Ugandan population by increasing access to farming inputs, finance, markets, and extension services.
Our work serves the rural poor and enables them to fully participate in the social, cultural, and economic development of their communities. We also support rural communities so they can have more of a voice in shaping the policies that affect their lives.
