Africa faces significant challenges in the area of medical care. Access to quality healthcare is limited in many countries on the continent. Traditional healing plays a crucial role and has been practiced for generations. In combination with modern medical approaches, this could be a key to sustainably improving the health of the population.
The Hands of Love Association infinitely thanks all the MISERICORDIA DI CAMPI BISENZIO (Florence), the volunteers and the Superintendent Cristiano Biancalani who decided to donate a defibrillator and an electrocardiograph to our association.
We will bring and use these LIFE-SAVING machines at the Kirema Health Center Hospital, village of Namirembe Uganda, where Doctor Peter Mukasa currently works, with the hope of being able to bring them in a not too distant future, to a new small hospital of the association.

The arrival of a baby should be one of the most beautiful moments in a woman's life. Instead, giving birth in Africa claims thousands of victims every year. Especially in the poorest areas of this continent where everything is missing.
Thanks to donations from our supporters we can help young mothers undergo clinical examinations (HIV/AIDS tests) and gynecological visits, assisted births and the therapies needed by their newborns in the first days of life.
We can provide a suitcase and everything needed for the birth, including sterile gloves, cotton, gauze, the necessary items for cutting the umbilical, layette, sheets, ecological sanitary pads, underwear and diapers, talcum powder, soap...
